Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run the app and the plans you create.

Account information

• Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account.
• If you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us (such as your name and email). We do not receive your Google password.
• A display name or initial you provide for your profile.

Content you create

• The study topics you enter and the duration you choose.
• The study plans generated for you and your reading progress (which days you have completed).
• Reminder preferences, including the time of day you want to be reminded.
• Share links you create for a plan, and the number of times a shared link is viewed.

Device and technical information

• A push notification token from your device, used only to deliver the daily reminders you have enabled.
• Basic technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as timestamps of requests and error logs.

Kyrros does not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app.

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To generate, store, and display your study plans and track your reading progress.
• To send the daily reminder notifications you choose to enable.
• To create and serve read-only share links when you choose to share a plan.
• To enforce fair-use limits (for example, a cap on how many plans can be generated in a 24-hour period) and to keep the service secure.
• To respond to your support requests and communicate important service updates.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your study content to serve advertising.

Study plans are generated using artificial intelligence. When you create a plan, the study topic and duration you enter are sent to a third-party AI provider — currently Google (Gemini) and/or OpenAI — which returns the generated plan content. Your topic input is also checked by an AI classifier to keep generated plans safe and on-topic.

We share only the information needed to generate your plan; we do not send these providers your email address or account identity. These providers process the request on our behalf and under their own terms. By generating a plan, you consent to this processing. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into the study topic field.

We use a small number of trusted service providers (“processors”) to run Kyrros. They may process your information only to provide services to us and are bound to protect it:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and secure storage of your account and plans.
• Google (Gemini) and OpenAI — AI generation and topic validation, as described above.
• Expo — delivery of push notifications to your device.
• Vercel — hosting of the kyrros.app website and read-only shared-plan pages.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

• With the service providers listed above, to operate the app.
• When you create a share link, the plan content on that link becomes viewable by anyone who has the link. Share links are unlisted, expire after 30 days, and can be revoked by you at any time. We do not include your email or account identity on a shared page.
• If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the service.

We keep your account information and study plans for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described on our Account & Data Deletion page. Share links expire automatically after 30 days. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

• Access and update: You can view and edit your profile and plans inside the app.
• Delete: You can delete your account and associated data at any time — see the Account & Data Deletion page.
• Reminders: You can turn reminder notifications on or off at any time in Settings or in your device settings.
• Data requests: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email word@kyrros.app.

Kyrros stores and processes data in the regions used by our service providers, which may be outside your home country. We rely on appropriate safeguards for any such transfers.

Kyrros is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, which may be higher), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at word@kyrros.app and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database so that you can only access your own data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any issues.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Kyrros after an update means you accept the revised policy.
